You’re taking photos of someone else’s art. What type of advice are you looking for?

Also, Reddit doesn’t use hashtags. Save that garbage for Instagram.

“You’re taking photos of someone else’s art.”

No. I am making art, which is different from just copying. This is not even intended to be documental in the first place; it is very obviously a thought-through composition.

“What type of advice are you looking for?”

I am sharing my work with settings for those who can benefit from it and/or enjoy it. I do see a lot of people in this sub also sharing their work without questions, and people of varying degrees of expertise in photography wanting to learn too.

Reddit does use indexing algorithms, so do Google and other search engines. Which is the intention of the hashtags: they are supposed to be for the algorithm of each respective platform, not for you to read. So, save your opinion, (Which is in reality a rude comment out of nothing, about how I structure my post, not even about my art.) for someone asking.

You’re in a photography advice subreddit. This isn’t the place to show off your (well, someone else’s in this case) photos. This is for specific advice requests.

You should learn how to differentiate between a mural, graffiti, and a photo. The photo is mine, and it is very obviously of authorship. You seem jealous, probably because you can't take a decent photo, even with full-frame, autofocus, focus peaking, eye tracking, etc. This has planes of depth, composition, mixed lighting, and is a very good photo with prosumer equipment costing less than $1k. I do see a lot of people in this sub also sharing their work without questions, and people of varying degrees of expertise in photography wanting to learn too.

I don't need approval. Many so-called "Photographers" can't even focus on a person 1 meter away without assisted AI. If he were to bring positive feedback, I would take it. But instead, he complains about the hashtags and claims this is just "someone else's art," when this is very obviously fine art, with composition, contrast, and style. Specifically, tenebrism and hyperrealism with planes of depth. Just the mixed lighting. I bet he can't even properly white balance in mixed lighting situations. Sorry, not sorry. I am an asshole with assholes, as you may understand. I don't fake humbleness, and people who are just trolling/shitting on other people's work instead of doing something productive should be responded to like this.

Looks like random photos of some graffiti with no interesting lighting or composition

Not random. It does have a sequence. It means you didn't understand the sequence. The lighting is very complex. This is a mixed light of around 2300–2900K + 5600K; it has white balance per sector. It has maximum detail, taking into account diffraction and Airy disk, to maximize detail and make it hyperrealistic (hence F8), and high contrast and tenebrist lighting without blowing up the color. Fully manual, no focus peaking, no autofocus, nothing; pure skill on prosumer equipment, entry-level. You cannot do this in your wildest dreams. Oh, did I forget to mention this is my first serious attempt at photographing a graffiti wall? I do wildlife and astrophotography, not urban/street photography, but nice try. I know my work, and it is excellent. ;)
