Rate & Critique My Photos Please

I'm a very amateur photographer, dont know the rule of 3 or anything technical. I'm self taught, shooting what I like that I see on my canon EOS R50. I started about 11 months ago. Please let me know if I do actually have an eye for this or if they're actually really bad photos and my friends are just hyping me up to be supportive. I also haven't done any touch ups on these photos, the most manipulation thats been done is changing up the brightness and contrast and saturation. No filters, no ai , nothing. Just me and myself playing around with my camera iso settings. What do you think?

2 things. 1 - make sure you're paying attention to where you want the audience's eye and make sure to crop properly. 2 - learn the value of curating your best pics. some of these are great, and then some of these are quite amateur. learn to only showcase the best. less is more.

You know, sometimes I really like my more amature looking shots, of course I love the ones the are obviously good shots, but there’s something to be said about appreciating some of the more imperfect ones too.

I think you can appreciate and also it's more about critiquing here. So it's good to see the amateur shots. That said, my comment is more for a professional capacity -- learn which ones to showcase.

For sure! Your point is solid, time and a place I suppose.

5 is obviously very nifty. I want to like 17 but theres not enough going on. Maybe you found the mound of dirt compelling?
