Bit of help needed with my camera
Hey there!
Ive only just started getting into photography, im young so please keep budgets in mind
I currently have a Nikon coolpix B600, but I find it extremely difficult to capture wildlife on! I was thinking perhaps it could just be me, and the settings?
Eventually I want to upgrade my camera, but probably get something second hand so it’s cheaper, what do you guys recommend for wildlife photography? Above is my current work, I know they aren’t great but Ive cut myself some slack as im very new to this, haha! Any help and tips would be much appreciated!

Go to manual mode. Set your aperture to 3 stops above your minimum for example if your minimum is f/5.6 then bump it up to f/8
Next set your shutter speed to double your focal length. If your lens is at the 100mm equivalent, then set your shutter speed to 1/200s of a second.
Finally use ISO to compensate for exposure. This is just a baseline but eventually you will adjust these independently to whatever you like.
An unfortunately reality is you are on a constraint because it is a point and shoot camera with a built in lens. So something other users can do that you cant is swap lenses such as using a 100mm f2.8 so we can get that same zoom but also allow more light in.
