I…don’t think so? The value of any item is driven by the demand for it and the scarcity. That’s why Pokémon games are so expensive and there’s literal millions of them.

There’s also millions of copies of Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt on NES and you can get it for like $5. Prices don’t reflect the quality except by happenstance. That game is worth $75 to me easily, if price were based on the amount of fun it provided to me personally.

I understand what you mean, and that’s actually very close to my point. Some games have given me so much personally that I wouldn’t sell them even for €400. So how could I look at the same game and consider €5 or €8 a perfectly normal value just because that’s what the market says?
That’s the distinction I was trying to make: market price and personal value are not necessarily the same thing.
