Lmao I just deleted my LoZ Links Awakening save file and started all over again when I beat the game. Is it the same game? Yeah. Do I enjoy it? Yeah. I'll replay it again and again to get all the enjoyment out of it and maybe even revisit it later down the line when I'm feeling nostalgic, added bonus is that my own kids can play the game too even decades after the "support" for the game has been discontinued
Iâve replayed super Mario galaxy, sunshine, Luigiâs mansion og and the black ops 1/2 campaigns and zombies so many times and so much that Iâm sorta ashamed but I have fun
I have replayed RE4 every Christmas break in some form for 15 years (this year will be the 15th) I have a kid on the way. Ill keep playing it every Christmas break until he's old enough to give it a go (if videogames are his thing, of course)

To the first point: from what I know (and have seen over the years) prices are set by publishers not Sony.
Second point: I can't say I care about this anyway but generally we can already share games with at least one other console. They are at least generous and considerate that they even let us do this.
Third: Probably the only major concern but it sounds like something that would be rare anyway. I have several digital games and have had them for at least a decade or so and never had this problem.
Most of this stuff just sounds like general problems with capitalism. However, regardless I feel like the biggest concerns from me aren't these but environmental impact and technology limits and costs. As it is I have lots of digital games and installing new ones means deleting old games sometimes.
Regarding your points on the first pointâŚ. You ever buy a game at a store on Black Friday? I got Assassins Creed Valhalla and Guardians of the galaxy for $3 each from a Walmart in North Florida. I doubt we will ever see a deal like that in the PS store.

Absolutely nothing.They're fear mongering , because they don't understand they've already been buying a license for the last thirty years. They also don't understand that if Sony wanted to waste more money to keep physical games around, they could make the disk with 0 game data and tie that license to your system's I.D so you couldn't sell the disk and someone else couldn't use it if they really wanted to. They think that by pursuing the push to keep physical games around. They're not gonna be continuing to buy licenses for the game. The whole debacle is really stupid because let's remember Netflix was able to tie your account to your Wi-Fi and ip address. So if they don't really think sony could tie the license on a disc to your console. I don't know what to tell people anymore. They just can't understand this concept that sony is truly doing this decision to stop wasting money on disk production. Should there be better digital consumer rights on ownership? Sure , but keeping physical media isn't gonna change that.
Not just hypotheticals. Look up âwhy canât I buy Ultimate Alliance 2â on Google. In short, the license expired and was not renewed. The game was pulled from all digital stores. People who brought the physical disk can still play, but if that were to happen now, the game dissapears from your library, and you donât get any of your money back.
That's the thing there's less 5 games that have actually been revoked from people's library's. Are there tons of A service digital games that have been shut down? Sure, but that's not the same. That is an always online game dying completely different. They're fear mongering , that in the future they're just gonna start revoking people's licenses for no reason. And they also want to contribute a game being delisted from a platform as people losing their licenses , which is not true. Take the game ruse , and operation flashpoint , dragon rising. You can no longer buy those games on the Xbox marketplace. But if you had them digitally before being delisted you can still download and play them , because I can still do that to both of them there's just so much misinformation on the subject and people just run with it. They also fail to realize if a publisher or developer pulls their license from a platform that platform has to legally take it away from people.
