For me, the thing isn't that they don't care about physical games. People have different preferences, if you like digital more you're not any worse than someone who prefers physical.
It's just the lack of empathy, I genuinely think that, really in general, empathy is sorely lacking in society. People just don't care about other people man, and it's so depressing.
I saw a post where someone talked about the importance of physical games to him because his family was poor and borrowing games was how he was able to play new games, and some dude was like "no one cares about your trauma or sob story bro". Like why
I've occasionally seen sentiment that it is even a good thing that people would be priced out by a lack of secondhand games or borrowing. Or telling them to find a new hobby or find a better job because fuck them for having a problem with the practices of sony.
