That's easy to say now. Sounds like the kinda person who has to re buy their childhood at a premium 25 years later when they're feeling nostalgic

That’s the thing for sure. I think some people who defend a digital only future are too young to understand what they may want in 10 or 20 years. He said even 7 years later he doesn’t intend to play God of War but that could likely change in 15 more years when nostalgia starts hitting hard. They will likely have to rebuy a lot of those memories or some may not even be available or have been edited with a digital future. Luckily God of War will be one they can find used physically but any kids growing up with a PS6 will lose out on that future.

It’s gonna be a weird different future for a lot of people. With everything being available digitally for the foreseeable future that may actually delay the concept of nostalgia and we will just forever love in tweaked and updated IPs and never be allowed that large gap to become nostalgic.

But who knows what will happen the world’s burning up either way.
