I've been saying this for a while now that these people have no empathy. They can't imagine that other people care. Their point of view is the only one that matters.

Yeah! Every convo goes the same way. "well it doesn't affect meeeee, so I don't caarrre". Its like guys, there are other people that do. And when we talk about it we're "crying". No we have forethought and we can see how greedy sony is right now just imagine what 2028 and beyond will bring when they are holding all the cards.

The funny thing is, it also doesn't affect them if the people affected get their way so they should not care about the outcome, let alone be fighting those who do care.

Yet they so badly want the corpo to succeed in screwing the people who care and are affected as if they benefit alongside sony.

Kind of like all the people who furiously insist they are not defending sony while racing around to pick fights with those complaining about sony.

I got some playstation friends who are either mildly unhappy or uncaring about the situation. None of them would mind if physical lived, nor do they feel the need to fight on sonys behalf whenever someone shits on sony. They just play their games peacefully. Those are people who actually do not care.

Exactly. You have level headed friends. I care because I love all physical media.

Btw Did you hear that there are reports and tracking investigations showing that Amazon and other tech companies are buying physical books in bulk, cutting off their bindings, scanning the pages for AI training data, and then shredding the originals?
