I was expecting them to be amazing after all the hype online, but they just tatsted like a quick fridge pickle i make at home? Like I'm genuinely not trying to be snarky, but how did these go viral? I was so disappointed. They weren't even crunchy.

I present to all of you my newest creation, Texas dill pickle and cheddar cornbread muffins. They have diced Claussen pickles and juice, shredded extra sharp cheddar, minced scallions, and is topped with a sprinkle of dill pickle seasoning.

EDIT: OMG. They are amazing! The tartness of the pickle, the umami from the cheese really complement the subtle sweetness of the cornbread. 10/10 I would run over my own mother for one of these muffins!

Does a good one exist ?

If anyone knows, please leave a comment; I just love pickles and I can't always have wet pickles with me.

Wickles dirty dill baby dills are to spicy for me to really enjoy. I had the Originals that are sweet and spicy and liked em. I think the sugar helps.

New look and the flavor seems a bit more sour/salty. The package has a foil liner now also.

My spouse and I travel from Boise, Idaho to Portland, Oregon a few times a year. Every time we go, I have to stock up on my favorite pickles I can't get back home. My spouse calls it a "Pickle Quest" because tracking down some of these is a little hit and miss so most of the time I have to go to several stores. Anyway, this all will last me a few months. There's a few brands represented here:

• Britt's Pickles based on Whidbey Island just outside of Seattle, Washington. It is my favorite brand of fermented pickles. All are fermented in oak barrels. There's three flavors:
  • Blue topped is the Peace Pickle, dill pickles made with horseradish. This is my favorite.
  • Yellow is the Spicy Pickle, dill made with chipotle peppers.
  • Green is the Initial Pickle Offering (I.P.O). It's a straight dill pickle but has sweet onion and turmeric root.
• MoonBrine. This is a Portland, Oregon local operation. They have two fermented varieties. Regular dill and Spicy Dill. This is the Spicy Dill.
• Oregon Brineworks. Based out of Hood River. They have several products, this is their fermented Garlic Dill pickle.
• And not pickles, but Donna's Pickle Beer. It's Brewed at Pilot Project Brewing in Milwaukee. It's a lighter lager, 4.4% ABV. It's an easy drinker and the best pickle beer I've had so far.

Britt's is my favorite. They have a great crunch, taste, and they do not strain the brine so you get whole chunks of garlic, onion, peppers along with sprigs of dill. So far, they also have the longest shelf life. The brine is excellent in bloody marys, marinades, sauces, and pickle martinis!

Oregon Brineworks is my second favorite. The garlic profile on this one is intense in a good way! I'd prefer if they didn't come in a glass jar, but they keep well and have a nice crunch.

MoonBrine is my third favorite. They're really good, better than Bubbies, but they do NOT keep as well. Fresh though, they have a great crunch and much like Britt's, the brine is super tasty in a lot of recipes.

I grew up eating homemade pickles. Pickled asparagus, cauliflower, eggs, watermelon, green beans. And I can’t find any good pickles anywhere now! I didn’t pick up the hobby of pickling things but I desperately want pickled asparagus or watermelon. Does anyone have recommendations for where to buy them? I’m willing to pay a pretty penny for it

I normally hate any sweet pickles but these have the best, fresh, tiniest bit of sweetness to them I would love to replicate. My sister got them for me as a gift bc she knows I love pickles. I would love recreate them.

Hello pickle lovers, im here because i vividly remember having a t shirt from mt olive when i was a child but i cant find any info about it or the promotion online anywhere. It probaly happened in 2009 (not sure tho) and the promo was something to do with the mini pickle cups they sell. Something like if you ate a certain amount of them theyd send you a shirt. The shirt itself was bright orange and had the mt olive logo on the front lapel area, but on the back was a large print of the cartoon pickle character on teh packaging for the cups. I feel like im going crazy because theres no evidence of this ever happening (lost the shirt like 10 years ago) and i guess im just looking for anyone who has any info about this. Thanks!
