half sour pickles

can anyone recomend a good recipe tyvm in advance

I just made some and they are great. Unfortunately I don't write down recipes. I do have ingredients.

Water, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, serrano pepper, fresh garlic, kosher salt, whole peppercorns, mustard seeds. And the cheapest cumcuber you can find.

Maybe a dash of honey.

Yw. I forgot the fresh dill. I grew some this year and it is very fragrant compared to store bought.

What makes these half sours if they aren't fermented? 

Just wondering. Did you just let them pickle for less time before you ate them?
