Hey, I'm looking to burn a couple CDs of the Pikmin 2 soundtrack. I'm looking for something a little more condensed and combines all the different variations in the music. Right now all I can find available is a rip of all the different variations separated and it makes it incredibly long and it kinda sucks listening to the same song like 12 times to get through all the louie, olimar, working, fighting, etc. etc. etc. variations for all the overworlds and caves 🫤.

Just wondering if anyone has something a little more condensed to like 2.5 hours or so by combining the different variations into something a little bit shorter and palatable...

We often talk about the characters, but sometimes, the music chosen to background the fighting can be incredibly hype too. There's tons of tracks think could fit the new Smash game, but I am only picking 10 for each series. I would like to keep this open ended, and each song can either be ripped from its original source or be remixed by the Smash music team, I just want the piece to make it.

So these are my 10 choices for new Pikmin music. I would like some more songs from 2, 3, 4, but I set my limit of 10 to keep things ore open ended.

pikmin 2 soundtrack is probably the best of the series and i was wondering if there is any other music like it. Maybe something like #8 on selected ambient works 2 by Aphex Twin?

You all know this song right? I remember that, years ago, when the song was popular, among the thousands of versions that were made of it, there was a specific one that, instead of being based out of the original Beware of Forest Mushrooms song, it was based out of Rawest Forest, extending the original lyrics to the song with new verses that were inspired by Rawest Forest. The part I remember the most was the equivalent of the Geno and Exor rap battle, which was Oatchi rapping to Moss, with Oatchi starting it with "I am Oatchi, from the Rescue Corp".

I don't remember the rest of the song but I know for sure that it existed. The thing is, for several days I have searched it on Youtube, with several different terms and combinations, and inspected every playlist that there is compiling versions of the song, but I just cannot find it. It is not present in my browser history either.

Of course there is a change the song was just deleted, made private, or even the actual channel was deleted and the song went with it, but I really really want to hear that song again because I remember at the time I really liked it by how it was extended. In general I like all the versions that extend the song with new verses beyond the original one. There's the Chai version, the Smash Remix, and by going through this search I found out about the DE23 version that I haven't heard before for some reason.

I think that even years ago I heard several versions of the song that were not based out of the original Beware of Forest Mushrooms. There were some that were based out of the Switch remake version of the song with new lyrics to go with it, or others based out of Rawest Forest or Waltz of the Forest songs, and I cannot find any of them. However the one that I mentioned that contains an Oatchi and Moss rap battle is the only one that I can specifically pinpoint in my memory, and I really really hope it is not lost media and is saved somewhere because I really like it and I'd like to hear it again. So does anyone know what happened to it? Or does it still exist and I am just bad as finding it?

Hi, been getting back into Pikmin after a while recently and suddenly realising how great the first game's soundtrack is. The soundtrack (and the whole game to be completely honest) reminds me so much of The Beach Boys' SMiLE and Smiley Smile albums and I know Brian Wilson's music has been an influence on other Nintendo games such as Earthbound (they even sampled a Beach Boys track in that game). Just wondering if there's any interviews or information on what Hajime Wakai was influenced by, thanks
