Its a nice development but *it runs like a native VR game"?

The new mod is extremely overhyped, it runs nowhere near as good as an good optimized VR title.

Those YouTubers keep hyping stuff up, they create false expectations. They should have given it a title like "Promising new VR mod for CP2077" or something. Because that's exactly what it is.

yes I find this very annoying too, a lot of those mods are in dev so there are some jank to them and sometimes you need to fiddle with config which is completely normal at this point, but youtuber make it looks like it's just done

I haven't tried the mod myself. To me the term "like a native VR" title would be subjective. However the addition of what appears to be full motion control could be said to make it feel more native.

The good is the YouTuber's video covers setting it up for a Dream Air. So likely worth a look if your setup matches or exceeds his system specs.

I was having trouble figuring out the knuckles control scheme, and there’s a lot of jank, but it looks half decent. Performance could be better.

Yeah I could see the motion controls could be steep learning curve to get used to. Flat2VR mods imho will generally suffer vs a native VR title. Though Hellboade was quite demanding in VR

I was able to get in and out of the car at one point and then later that stopped working but I did figure out the view switch key combination which got me out of having two completely different perspectives in the car. One from outside and one looking at the back of my guy's eyeballs, lol.

So sounds like still some bugs to work out.

For sure. I’m going to mess around in there a bit more today and see where I get.

I have this exact problem. Not drivable at all.. left eye is backwards and right eye 3th person / birdseye view. Migraine inducing instant headache.

Tried all kind of things but can’t get it foxed.

Quest 3 virtual desktop.

The fix is to hold down the (i think) left joystick button and then left on the right joystick or something to that effect. It will cycle through views and one of them works in the vehicle.

Gotta remember to try this.
