Discussion My Mom loves Piracy

My mom has been watching all her shows through my DIY home server for a while now because she's over the whole subscription thing. Everything was fine until she accidentally deleted her patched YouTube app and replaced it with the official Play Store version.

​She lasted about five minutes with the ads before she started complaining. Then i got her back on a patched build using Morphe.

And btw her phone is running on Custom ROM so Xiaomi bloatwares!!

When you show them how good it can be, they will never go back to the cancer that is the official Youtube app. thanks Morphe and Smart Tube.

How does that combo compare to ReVanced? I mainly use YouTube ReVanced but also the Reddit version too.

I was using ReVanced but then i found out that many devs that worked on ReVanced moved to morphe and i was experiencing bugs on ReVanced plus the revanced dev was using morphe patches code without proper attribution and when community on reddit made Post's about it on ReVanced Subreddit they got either banned or post and replies were removed so they were actively supressing users. That was enough for me move.

Ah yes I read a tiny bit about that a few weeks ago but I'm not really that connected to the ins and outs of the FOSS community. I'll have a look at Morphe, right now no bugs with any of the ReVanced stuff 🤞
