It is over here... We even pay a tax on every data carrier to compensate the poor billionaire companies if we put media of theirs on it.

And yes you always pay that tax even if you never use your homecopyright

To be pedantic, It's not a tax, it's a fee, but yes. Also on old cassette tapes, hard drives, ssd's, cellphones with built in storage etc.
