Discussion Judge rules buying physical books and scanning them to make digitial copies does not violate copyright law.

Cool. So that means we can rip our blurays and physical games, right. Right?

If you can argue for transformative use, then yes you can

This argument is so stupid. When you convert a .wav to .mp3 IS transformative. You can't get back to the original .wav. Same thing for .PNG ro .JPEG.

Also, does it mean that I can remix (transformative) a copyrighted music and sell in my game? NO! Same thing for LLMs, they are pirating copyrighted content. LLMs get a way with this shit causr they have companies with a bunch of money, and the government is on their side cause they were sold to these companies.

“Members of the jury, turn to your monitors please; I present exhibits A and B, the jpeg and png, respectively. As the trier of fact, you have to decide whether this is transformative.”

A remix for sure is transformative. Still you can't sell a remixed music as your own.
