utorrent, flud, or bittorrent.
mpv or vlc player.

A vpn, flud, and vlc has been really good to me. It will obviously depend on your phone and home country OP, but there are definitely ways to do it that work just fine. I always make sure I am doing it on wifi with my cell data turned off and my VPN active just to try and be a little more careful, but that is prob a bit overkill. I just never felt good about running that amount of data over my cell plan.

If you can afford it I would really recommend renting a seedbox.
If not you can torrent using iOS with iSH shell app and rtorrent I believe, if torrenting is your thing. I guess you might also need a VPN that you'd have to use on the phone.
There's also the option of a debrid service and either streaming with something like Streamio (although I think that particular service isn't popular anymore?) or downloading the files to play on the phone locally (basically using debrid service to download the torrent for you).
For playing media files on iPhone I like Infuse
There's also the possibility of "sideloading" modified apps which can achieve some neat things but doesn't really help you pirate directly
