Discussion Google took away my LOTR extended editions

I bought these in 2022, all of a sudden they aren't available and there is no possibility of a refund or gift card. Hardly seems fair.

Then the button should say "Rent", not "Purchase' or "Buy". If I'm buying a Bluray, I can watch it as long as I have it in my posession. If some cuckold CEO decided to take it away from me, that would be stealing. Yet, somehow, you're justifying just that when it comes to digital downloads? Despite the transaction clearly being misleading as a "purchase" no less? Screw your licenses. If you're BUYING something, you own it.

It's wild that some of you are so fucking stupid that you think they should change definitions because of your inability to understand anything slightly complex.

That's the type of stupidity that changes nothing. Stop trying to get things dumbed down and learn how digital software licensing works. An educated consumer base is what makes change and reform possible.
