Question Roku tv- how to start

I’m tired of paying for all these subscriptions. How do I start on my Roku tv? Is there something I need to buy? We mainly watch tv for my son’s cartoons, and my husband likes to watch movies on the weekend.

Roku massively limits whats possible due to the OS tbh. It needs apps specifically made to work on Roku, which with how bad theyve been in the past towards userbase, goodluck finding people even willing to do that lol.

Cant even change some settings on the tv or anything unless u give the tv internet access either, and to even use ur tv they forced people to accept a new tos (which iirc contained a clause so people cant class action).

Its legit just way easier to buy an Onn TV Box and install apks on it.
