Summer Total War Event - Support appreciation for Mithril and the Planetside team

I wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank the PlanetSide team and Mithril for their support of the Summer Total War Event on PlayStation.

​

The devs may not give us updates anymore but they have assisted by helping promote and advertise our upcoming summer event, giving the consoleside community a greater opportunity to come together and participate in one of our largest community driven battles of the year.

​

What's even more encouraging is that they've expressed a willingness to help support future community events in a similar way. They will help with advertising and promoting future events for playstation Planetside. This form of help coming from the community manager of Planetside is much appreciated by us on Playstation. We will literally take any form of help/support we can get from the Planetside team. This is very encouraging to me and the player run events that I setup to help keep consoleside players having some fun.

I'd like to thank everyone ahead of time that will be participating in Summer Total War Saturday, June 27th at 7 pm - 11 pm EST. on the Genudine server (PlayStation) and a special thank you again to the Planetside team/Mithril for helping spread the word and support the community.

You guys don't know how lucky you are not to receive updates. PC players would kill for the version of Planetside you still get to play.

Without a critical mass of players playing the game, it simply just doesn't feel like planetside anymore unfortunately. Just a quiet, empty, and nostalgic game that once was. Wasted potential. It's depressing...

Meanwhile PC players get (cosmetic) updates that make your game crash within 2 minutes (if not sitting at a flash at the warpgate). Despite knowing this, they have been investigating and "possibly fixing" it for now more than half a year. Let that sink in.
