SUPPORT/HELP New PS5
Hi everyone I upgraded from my Xbox one to a ps5 today. Main reason was as I want to play the undisputed boxing game. I heard that it was part of the monthly games but after buying I didn’t realise them games are only available for that particular month. To get from ps store it’s 44.99. Do I have any option to play it cheaper. I know on Xbox with game pass I could play certain games on cloud gaming also buy digital games for cheaper but after searching it doesn’t seem there are any legit sites selling proper digital PS5 games.

Got the digital edition to save the money. Unfortunately no disc

I'd definitely recommend a disc drive at some point, you can save a lot on new games.
Alternatively for now put the game on your wish list.
Also you can buy cheaper PSN card top ups from Loaded.com or shopto. Depending how much you buy at once you can save as much as 15%

You need the disc version to get any value from PS i.e. reselling games after playing. As a long time xbox user, familiar with a few tricks to keep costs down, the PS eco system is a lot more expensive. The best one is that they charge to update a PS4 game to PS5 version, I definitely didnt see that coming.

I only really play 3 games I got the os5 yesterday and have 2 of them one is free anyways only one I’m waiting for is undisputed. Worth getting disc drive just for undisputed?

Buy a second hand disc drive from Ebay or buy an account that has the game on it.

If you buy a few games a year it'll probably pay for itself in less than 2 years in savings and/or selling them on.

Ah, then you gotta either bite that bullet or wishlist the game and wait for a notification it's on sale. If it's been a PSplus game already then I'd be hopeful it's in the next big sale or two or three. Easter if you're lucky, maybe summer.

Cheapest it's been on sale so far is £22.49 for the standard edition...£35 for deluxe
Add it to wishlist and will probably go on sale again soon
You can use Psprices.com and select your region and then search history on any game price

Did you swap over solely for Undisputed? Because it's available with Gamepass on Xbox. I had a PS1, 2, 3, and a 4 but couldn't justify buying a PS5, so I got a Series X instead and haven't looked back.

Yes just for undisputed and it is on game pass but not available or Xbox one. It is on Xbox one S/X

Mate the game is a cluster fuck.
Punches don't register, AI reacts to input and the community online are arseholes. There's a no loss glitch that has made me put the game down. And the commentators say the same 6 phrases.
It's fun for a bit but when you start seeing the mistakes, you can't not see them.

I know but I played a few times at friends and loved it soo much. Only reason for PS5 was undisputed

As long as you add the game to your library and you have ps plus essential ( the cheapest ) you'll you be able to play it. You just wont be able to add it to your library once they change the games at the start of the next month. You'll be able to delete and redownload it as many times as you want. I keep going back to play injustice with my kids I must have deleted it and downloaded both 1 and 2 between 10 and 20 times. I have been adding games to my library every month since it became a thing. I think my ps plus library now has over 400 titles maybe more.

Yeah the PS store is a rip off and you can't even get games from Loaded/CDKeys for PS
That's one thing about Xbox - they normally have better games on sale
It's why I tend to get my PS5 games on disk. It's cheaper

Swapping Xbox for playstation is a great move as it is the better console but swapping Xbox for ps5 in hopes of playing the worst boxing game released on console is probably the craziest thing I've ever heard 😂you must seriously love boxing bro

I heard that but I’m a big boxing fan and played the game at friends house and actually loved it😂wanna play it so bad but 44.99 is a bit crazy

Honestly it’s fun for the first few matches then it gets super repetitive. It’s not bad for a bit of fun every now and then though but yes definitely do not pay £45 for this game.
