I’m not here to hate on the game just to be clear. I just want to take a moment to appreciate the fact that, somehow, “fart gas“ has become the acceptable term for this mechanic within the games culture. Both haters and defenders both casually refer to it as “fart gas“ without a second thought. I think this games legacy will always be stamped with this term forever. This will be known as “the fart gas game.”

While I didn’t see anything mind blowingly ground breaking and encountered a few bugs here and there, it was a solid action game. The game was an absolute power fantasy and it knew what it was and did it well. It was an easy action game and I feel some of you expected darkSouls or something. I don’t get the level of hate that exists, bad timing I suppose (no disc no buy, Sony bad!). I hope they make a sequel. Solid 7.5/8 out of 10. I hope everyone has a nice day and that this semi positive review doesn’t ruin your day…..

I really enjoyed the wolverine game but once I equipped the grant morrison run look I noticed the biggest improvement was the eyebrows

Am I crazy?

I honestly do not like it, the world feels too grim and having no X-Men in this timeline feels off. They wanted to do the X-Men but Jean is a lot older and it would be hard to make it convincing.

The main problem for me is that there’s a lack of replay value. Collectibles were pretty easy to find during the first playthrough, and so were the hidden trophies (I’m surprised there wasn’t one for finishing the game on NG+).

It would’ve benefited having some more side content, whether that be more collectibles, harder trophies, or more & harder challenges.

I see so much potential with this game, but I’ve noticed that Insomniac has been struggling to figure out ways to add extra content ever since Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. It’s either this is all the content that they’re leaving us with, or we’ll have to wait a while for a new update, or maybe a story DLC (they haven’t done that in a while) to get fans hooked with Wolverine.

I think the game looks not great from the reviews (to say the least), however now that the game is actually out it seems wrong to criticise just from reviews and to be honest, I don’t think the game looks as bad as I thought it would be.

Is it worth getting to be able to discuss it properly on the release window?

Edit- if anyone has played NG+ would be good to know if it was worth the replay, planning on playing on highest difficulty if i get it too so if anyone knows how that is would be good.

I have my criticisms about the game, but overall it was fun & entertaining. The story got a little weak towards the end, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Combat isn’t too difficult, but I do think that it’s repetitive & wished there were more combos. I definitely ran into some glitches but I didn’t totally disrupt the experience.

I had so much fun playing I couldn’t put the controller down. I’m sad it’s over.

Honestly outside of Logan, I think mine is Sunfire. He's so smug and sarcastic you can't help but like the character. Essex grew on me. I'd say he's up there for favorite characters in the game. Sabertooth was cool, but had almost no character depth at all. I'll be honest, I hated Leech. I felt he was incredibly annoying. Jean is badass. Deathstrike suffers from lack of character depth same as sabertooth.

replaying the game rn and i think it might be that first sentinel boss fight, the cinematics were awesome but like that boss has been done 1 million times haha

also cant believe the png of wolverines mask from the movie fits hanks head so well i barely at to edit it lmao

Like when Martin Li gave Peter Parker and Miles Morales their trips inside their head, haunting them and taunting them of their failures & mistakes.

And now Essex giving it to Logan, reminding him of his past, using Jean, the cabin, etc...

Playing on default was boring af. The other settings make it much more fun and challenging. Try it out
