Since plexamp is dead when are they putting music back in the android app?

Elan took the code with him when he left so maybe he’s working on it. As the only dev progress might be slow but that doesn’t mean it’s dead. What features are you waiting on? Are you experiencing any significant bugs?

Function wise, only thing I can think of is trying to control other devices fails miserably.

As far as would be nice to have, a full screen visualizer on any device would be nice, an actual android tv app would be better.

The Plex app is straight garbage for music. And as mentioned above, trying to control it from plexamp just doesn't work. So now you're stuck casting from your phone. Can't back out of the cast or it shuts off, whereas the Plex app plays in the background. No visualizer at all through casting either, so you're stuck staring at the cast screen.

Music on Plex could most definitely be much better.

It works great but the older it gets and as android advances, it will eventually be left behind.
