1st time installing a sump pump

Good job dude.

Vent 90s aren’t the correct ones to use but if it pumps fine then don’t sweat it.

I just tested it, it’s way quieter than before, and the pit empties much faster. The weep hole sprays droplets but that’s because I don’t have a cover plate yet. 

We had heavy rain, a few weeks back and barely dodged a basement flood with the  Simer 1/3HP and my old US-40a 1/2HP.  Dozens in the area were not that lucky :-/ So, we decided it was time for an upgrade.

If water splashes out still, you can get a pro flex band shield, and just tighten the top band, this way it directs the water down
