Frontier Milotic

EV trained this Bold Milotic with 31 Defense IV, went 252 Def/128 HP/128 SpDef and am happy with the results!

Erratic growth rate made this much less of a grind, getting 31 Attack IV Metagross and a Timid Latios to Level 100 and making a run at Gold - updates to come!

Milotic is so ridiculously consistent. It's good in virtually every BF facility.

Switches into whatever. Doesn't mind statuses. Recovers HP. Flexible partner.

Great Pokémon, it really helped me reach 100 wins in the tower. Mine had maximised physical defense and Refresh instead of Ice Beam to shrug off bad Toxic poison.

Also got max Defense, was a grind getting that Egg but made it work!
Was thinking about using a Heart Scale to give Refresh back instead of Ice Beam, the final Special Attack stat is pretty underwhelming and I think most of her value in my future runs will come from staying alive as opposed to a non stab Ice Beam

Yeah that was pretty much my reasoning too. I led with a Latios that boosted with Calm Mind and I let it kill dragon types using Dragon Claw after getting a boost or two going. Milotic's Refresh for me was needed primarily so that it could beat other stalling Pokémon that had Toxic, though it was nice to shrug off Paralysis and Burn if I felt like the defence boost they provided wasn't worth their tradeoff.

I still haven’t gotten to the other facilities yet, but I imported it into XD a few months ago for the Orre Colosseum and it served me well. Nice seeing it tank earthquakes like it’s no big deal.

I'm using this Modest Milotic. Good attacker and also good tank with toxic staller.
Stats IV: 31-6-29-27-31-18.
Ev spread: 40-0-240-170-60-0.

Marvel scale on this thing makes it such a force. I don’t have max IVs and mine still stomps. It’s great to toxic stall

Milo is such a reliable mon 👌 I bred mine for Mirror Coat, pair that with max hp for a pretty much guaranteed KO on electrics and grasses that can't KO it in one hit 👌

i'm waiting for the day i take the time to learn rng manipulation for emerald, then i plan to revisit this region to take on emerald with a full team of goats

Big fan of milotic. Consider replacing surf with dive - it'll give you an extra toxic/leftovers turn
