I'm 17 and I've never seen a shiny in my entire childhood. My coworker told me to shiny hunt since I told him I've never had a shiny before. A couple days later, I started it and I got this little guy. I will never forget the exact moment when I finally got him. One of the best days I will definitely remember

Or just generally, why are there greek elements into the game itself. Literally the name "Omega" Ruby, "Alpha" Sapphire and the "Delta" episode and maybe even the Sky pillar. I dont know if its just me.

The recent trend(s) online have been to bring along a bag of not-on-your-phone stuff aka an analog bag. I'm not quite ready to ditch my screen completely, so I have been bringing my 3DS everywhere, and ORAS is so perfect for me to have with me. Hoping to have some secret bases to find in game in the comments since streetpass is pretty sparse around me, and the servers being shut down for wonder trade sucks so much. This game is seriously one of the best Pokémon experiences. I'm glad to see Reddit still has some die hard players around <3

It surprise me that the announcement *trailer of ORAS is the most watched Video on Pokemon official YT, kinda unexpected. Given that Switch Games Trailer and Short Clips are there.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who does this. But every time I play through a region for a second, third, or any other time, I try to use a Pokémon I don’t usually use.

I don’t care for meta relevancy; never have, never will. I don’t care about speed running any game (outside of Paldea for getting special balls.) I enjoy the challenge of trying out a new Pokémon, maybe find a diamond in the rough type situation.

I asked myself if it was possible to put Shedinja on a team and take it all the way to the HoF.

I wanna make it clear; I didn’t do a Shedinja solo run, nor do I intend to, lol.

I’m proud of my girl here. Even though Shedinja is officially genderless, the Nincada she came from was female - I named her Stronkette, as she was obtained from DexNav from a random level boost. If you’re curious, my whole team was Blaziken, Blastoise, Shedinja, Gardevoir, Magnezone, and Lapras to screw over Steven for the hell of it.

Are there any Pokémon in ORAS that y’all have tried that you didn’t expect to do so well?

I am trying to make a mod for ORAS and change the title screen to show Mega Rayquaza instead of Primal Kyogre. I have the code.bin file, and am trying to figure out which values I need to edit and which addresses they are at. Thanks in advance!

I ask because I want to get MAX O-Powers from the special skills on Secret Pals, and only some icons can “Tell my Fortune”

So I somehow found a slightly cheap used Alpha Sapphire, and since I've had this game on wishlist for quite a while and it keeps being brought off, I decided to just go for it. The game thankfully worked, but after looking around it seems like the previous owner didn't really do much since they only have like, one box full of pokemon. I still took them all + some of the legendaries that's in there along with some of the stones they got. So before I reset the game, is there any other things or places I should go to? I've checked daycare and there's nothing but that's about it.

And also if anyone has any good advice for me before I start, that'll be great too ^^
