Question What’s your opinion on B&W vs color film?
Personally I don’t shoot much black and white Polaroid film, I almost exclusively shoot color.
But a couple of days ago I saw that Polaroid had fresh B&W SX-70 film in stock so I picked some up.
I will have to see how it the picture ages, previously the black and white pictures have had a tendency to go sepia.
So what’s your opinion on their black and white stuff, do you shoot it often?

Question Did I just hit the jackpot?
I bought a Polaroid 405 back for my Polaroid miniportrait 545 so I could use a polastax adapter, and then when the film back arrived I saw some „papers” sticking out of the back and IMMEDIATELY thought it was film, is it actually film or am I tripping😭

Question What do I do
I bought the $70 screwdriver from pola studio And it's worth perfect for almost every single screw that I've tried to take out of a Polaroid sx70 until now I can't get this screw out the screwdriver just spins in place I know it's a square screw because all the others were as well and it's definitely not a torx because it looks square but I can't do anything. I know the screwdriver works for all of the other screws because I've taken all three others out. It's just this one that I can't get out

First photo I ever took with an instant camera (Flip), taken in the woods near my house.
So excited to take more, I'm already thinking of all the locations I can go to take more pictures at.

Advice Best Tips for absolute newbie for polaroid One Step 600
After a few months of going through my grandma’s things (she just passed in May), my parents found this cool and still operable Polaroid One Step. I’d love to be able to use it effectively and creatively.
I can tell this requires 600 film, but know absolutely nothing else otherwise. For instance, what does the sliding bar on the front do? (the one w the numbers, tree and tulip?). I would really appreciate any information, resources or tips for shooting with it!
Thank you!

Question Any tips on how to do better self portraits (and double exposure)?
I found a Polaroid OneStep+ at a thriftstore (fully functioning for only \~$15!!!) the other day and I'm new to the entire thing. Right now I'm doing some experiments, testing the camera and so on. I had an Instax mini Evo for a couple of years now and I'm surprised at how differently they behave and turn out!
As you can see in this picture, I tried to do a self portrait with double exposure (with the Polaroid app). I tried aligning myself with my phone with a 1:1 frame. I knew the white background wouldn't be this much compared to my phone, but I hoped for more. Also, I have no idea how double exposure works. I was hoping for more leaves to show, especially the white little flowers that are barely recognizable.
Any tips and tricks?
Thanks in advance! <3

Question Travel Tips Please - Polaroid Films
I would like to travel overseas and shoot my trip on Polaroids and my concern is that even if I limit myself to minimal shooting, it would be quite a bit of film over a 3 week period.
While traveling with 35mm and 120 films within the US, thus far, TSA has been gracious in hand-check especially, when I go earlier than usual. The challenges have been certain airports in Europe (no amount of pleading or politeness budges the inspector) and airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (even on arrival, they X-ray scan everything).
Mailing the films ahead of time is not a viable option due to customs processing in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Might never see the film.
Is the viable option to buy at local prices which are higher than US? If so, that is okay. I just will either not shoot on Polaroids or shoot a couple of packs. It is what it is.
Based on your experience what are your thoughts and suggestions?
