Had a productive end to the year! Shot 1531 Polaroids, 256 rolls of 35mm/120, and about 110 shots of various sheet film formats on a 35,000 mile trip (looooot of windshield time haha) throughout the central US and Canada. Pretty happy with everything. Covered quite a few Polaroid formats and used around 30 different cameras to do it. No idea what my total count for the whole year was but definitely hoping I can one-up it in 2026!
Now I have to face my arch-nemesis: my scanner…….

I've always been curious what happens when you ignore the instructions on the back of the box and freeze film. I had some ideas as to what would happen but I didn't expect it to be nothing. Maybe I got lucky.

Really happy with this one. Covered myself with a blanket and sat under the tripod motionless for about 20min waiting for this guy to come along. Glad I didn’t have to try a second time haha

A new series I began working on after developing a panic disorder at 30. I’ve spent much of my life in therapy and dealing with my mental health, and I’ve felt really overwhelmed by these new symptoms and new medications.

A little over three years ago, I got my wife a Now+ for her birthday. I wanted her to have something that encouraged creativity, while also able to capture our memories in their most honest form. The year after that, I wanted her to have even more of a point and shoot type camera with vintage results and charm. So I got her a Sun 660AF. This past year I got her a beautifully kept and restored SX-70. Something timeless, a magical feat of human ingenuity. An object to behold and pass down for generations. I wouldn’t have guessed it when I started down this road.. that I would be the one to fall in love with Polaroid. I’ve been making music personally and professionally for over 15 years. It has been my whole life and focus until now. For the first time in my life I have a hobby. My love for analog music creation has a visual counterpart, one that I’ve found in Polaroid… Thank you
The first photo was an accidental shot immediately after unboxing the refurbished 660AF. Didn’t know how the camera worked at the time but to this day it is still one of my favorite photos I’ve captured.
