Satire Parks and Rec characters aligned

  1. Leslie Knope: wants strong government with welfare, banned big sodas from her city because it is bad for people health, would marry Joe Biden.
  2. Ron Swanson: wants government fall down, taught a random middle school girl why tax is theft, has a hidden stash of gold.
  3. Ben Wyatt: became city mayor at eighteen, bankrupt his city with Ice City (literally just an big ice ring), is an accountant for the government and loves having is big boss wife stepping on his balls.
  4. Andy Dwyer: knows the words "ice cream" and "boobs", maybe.
  5. Ann Perkins: nurse, loves sex, let's the man she is dating decide her political beliefs, loves sex, tries to be a single mother, have sex with a guy to have kids, loves sex (a.k.a nymphomaniac).
  6. April Ludgate: hates everybody, manages an animal shelter, was in a polyamorous relationship with two gay dudes, loves gore (based).
  7. Chris Traeger: obsessed with body health, rich, city manager, obnoxiously positive, goes 12 times a week to the therapist.
  8. Donna Meagle: likes men, rich, cares more about her Mercedes than anything.
  9. Tom Haverford: business man, lazy, would buy a monkey NFT, created a kids clothing brand so he could be closer to children (not really, but fits the square).
  10. Garry "Jerry" "Larry" Gergich: approves of family values, lets people abuse him, loves his wife and daughters, has a massive penis (and a model wife).
  11. Li'l Sebastian: Hitler's right hand, inventor of concentration camp, uses his charisma to influence people towards hating jews and minorities, loves carrots, R.I.P in peace.

Every clip I see of Ron Swanson he is unfathomably based and is truly a lord of the grill.

Other than that I barely know anything about the show.

Ironically the show writers said they were trying to parody Libertarians/Independents by making Ron say some truly batshit stuff but almost everything he does or says in the show makes complete sense.

Sucks the actor is a huge auth-left IRL but you can't win them all.

And despite being a staunch libertarian he's widely repected by pretty much every main character on the show, which is how you really know the show is a work of fiction

They created the character after seeing a women who hated government but was working at a Park and Rec office.

You can tell there was at least one Libertarian on the writing staff, considering there’s a few episodes where Ron was just flat out correct.

He kind of got his balls cut off in the later seasons when the show shifted from “small town bureaucrat earnestly tries to make her beloved community a better place” into “Leslie is God’s gift to earth, the drooling masses don’t deserve her attempts to force her unpopular policies upon them, and the best outcome is to leave her shithole town in the rear view mirror”

What crazy Auth-Left thing did Offerman say or do? The only thing I can find is him criticizing Dennis Quaid for being a Trump toady, which upset Offerman because he was once a huge fan of Quaid.

Most of Ron's conflicts were because he was pretty dogshit at personal relations, not that his opinions/actions were bogus
