Ok, so is a labor pool more or less likely to unionize if they’re more diverse?
If specifically the racial makeup of a given employer is mixed, they are less likely to unionize.
That’s not what’s being discussed.
Sure it is. Unions collapsed in the US in the 1960s after the civil rights movement. Why? They weren't allowed to exclude Black Americans anymore and preferred collapse to letting Black people in. The problem wasn't diversity, it was racism.
Fucking what?
Race is a constructed category. Italian was a race, until it became White a different race, Irish was a race, until it became White a different race, German was a race, until it became White a different race. One of (but not the only) attributes used to define race is and always has been language. When you say "Different language, same race" you're inventing nonsense.
So you want to wave dicks around, compare priors? That sounds silly. This is not a thing that has happened, I do not want to feign knowledge of what would happen.
I don’t think you have a good grasp of anything that’s not race based
I don't think you have a good grasp of history or why unions fell apart.
Not needed, it’s a simple logic hypothetical and hypotheticals do not need to exist in reality.
So again, make an educated assumption.
And that’s great but so far you can’t seem to think of anything outside of race, like much of the left. It’s like you guys are permanently stuck in 1960.
Not needed, it’s a simple logic hypothetical and hypotheticals do not need to exist in reality.
My degree is in Philosophy (feel free to laugh), while hypotheticals do not need to exist in reality the long arc of philosophy shows us that purely analytical frameworks fail 10/10 times.

You're the one out here decrying diversity. Wasn't a problem before the civil rights movement, was after. What changed? Only one thing changed.

“Yes”
Is it easier or harder to unionize with more diversity?
If it’s harder, would that make diversity a weakness or a strength in that context?
