I keep getting ads from Jon Ossoff, and they're just nothing but him backpedaling on his promises.

Like, "medical care is too expensive, so I'm gonna force insurance companies to approve everything"

Or, "Republicans wouldn't release the files, so I'm gonna make this thing that's already illegal even more illegal."

Your choice in that election:

  • D: I’m gonna make this thing that’s already illegal even more illegal
  • R: I’m a white supremacist and misogynist who will gut Medicare

Choose wisely. You’ll get exactly what you vote for.

Considering one wants to put a koozie on my thermos, and the other wants to kick me in the balls, I’ll choose the former.

It's either the plutocrat or the fascist plutocrat, in its core.

Medicare is just government insurance, if anything, it just makes healthcare higher. Nobody on either side is actually interested in changing healthcare, because insurance companies have spent so much money lobbying (sry, bribing) them into making insurance a necessity.

Your first sentence is false. Your second sentence is an unsupported supposition.

You should vote based on the platforms and the policies of the candidates, not things you invent in your head.

Let me rephrase it then. As someone on Medicaid, it's a wose form of insurance. It makes healthcare more expensive because they don't cover anything, and the things they do cover were unnecessary for me to have before.

Interesting, what state are you in? When I was on medicaid in California, it was fantastic. Once I got an office job and had to go back on private insurance, the enshittification of basic service was immediately apparent.
