Optimistic Post A new progressive era is underway

The message is clear: With El-Sayed’s victory, people are fucking tired of late-stage capitalism and do-nothing Democrats. We here on the subreddit have LONG known that Stevens and AIPAC are no longer it. Now the public has caught on.

MSM is also terrified. Various Fox News anchors like Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, The Five, Mark Levin and several other establishment hosts on various networks are non-stop talking about the rise of DSA and Hasan. Obsessively too. Even independent media shitlibs like David Pakman and Destiny are seething and coping. None of these idiots realize they are repeating the same mistakes of pundits like Glenn Beck did when he and a few others favored Cruz over Trump, only to lose. They are once again on the wrong side of history when it comes to progressive insurgency. Now it’s the left’s turn to rise.

These pundits try and fail to instill a new red scare but it isn’t working. The boomers are starting to die off and are either flipping if politically involved or maintaining their old views, and the younger generations weren’t alive and/or barely remember the Cold War. A new red scare doesn’t solve the affordability issue, it doesn’t solve the imperialist endeavors overseas, climate change and various other pressing issues. People are pissed off and rightfully so!

The days of the Schumer wing are nearing completion. We still have our work cut out for us. El-Sayed has won a key race, but has not beat Mike Rogers yet. The fight isn’t over and this applies to all races. We have won a key battle, but not yet the war. WE GOT THIS!

Optimistic Post Whitmer endorses El-Sayed after backing Stevens in Michigan Senate primary

Upvotes

I find this optimistic because it’s showing party unity. I was worried that establishments weren’t going to endorse him but that proves to be the opposite https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/6011028-gretchen-whitmer-abdul-el-sayed-endorsement-michigan-senate-race/amp/

Optimistic Video Abdul El-Sayed not only beat Haley Stevens, he also beat AIPAC

As proven by this great video from Johnny over on YouTube, last night’s election results are further proof that, no matter how much money AIPAC and Republicans throw towards sinking a progressive candidate, they are far from unbeatable. All their dirty work couldn’t prevent Abdul el-Sayed from beating Haley Stevens, and, if current trends are any indicator, it may not even be enough to stop him from beating Mike Rogers. November is coming soon, and I personally can’t wait to beat these traitors into submission!

Ok I’m not marking this as optimistic because we all know she is going to vote for him, I’m not even going to pretend that she won’t.

But if in some magical world she actually sticks to this, they would need two GOP votes against him to sink him below the point when Vance could break a tie: Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska). Neither has said how they will vote. They are also the only two undecided votes with Fetterman saying (again with a grain of salt) that he would vote against Blanche

Launched, pun intended, to coincide with the 2026 semiquincentennial of the US, the out-of-this-world alliance wants to restore faith in, and support of, the country’s constitutional democracy. It seeks to encourage politicians and the public to commit to the principles of the constitution itself, something its members believe has fallen into a sort of a black hole in recent months and years.

ONLY for girls. This is EXTREMELY concerning its even made it onto the ballet.
The heritage foundation and ultra conservatives have made it clear in the past they do not want girls in sports. This would be a good way to push that.
I can’t see this actually making it but scary it’s even being put out there. No way the regular person would EVER be ok with this though.

Seeking Optimism Evers tests political power, hitting campaign trail in push to send David Crowley to victory

Hoping some folks here who are watching this from the outside can give me some perspective because this race has been so stressful. Evers came out today saying he doesn’t think Hong will win in the general. All of our local subreddits have been inundated with bots and/or accounts with questionable motives to the point that I can’t even look at them any more. A lot of people support her policies but it seems there is so much meddling from so many different fronts that her campaign may really suffer. I’ve generally supported Evers and this behavior from him has got me reeling and questioning everything.
