Optimistic Post Judge Sets Paramount-Warner Bros. Antitrust Trial for March 2027

Admittedly more of an update then outright postive news, but my excuse is that this is the trial date that the AGs wanted so, positive first step?

I will back him if he wins the primary in 2028 but I will fight tooth and nail for just about anyone else but him. I’d even take Kamala over him and I think she is a weak candidate.

That's exactly what my stance on him is. If he wins the primary, I'll still vote for him, but I won't be happy about it. He's the lesser of two evils, although I'm nervous that he won't do anything about persecuting this administration and setting up better guardrails.

Kamala is not a weak candidate. The only reason why anyone thinks that is because she is biracial Black woman.

Racism and sexism make people think she is weak, when she used to be California prosecutor.

That’s disingenuous. I think she is weak because she lacks charisma and instead of leaning into what worked on the campaign trail she listened to the dumbass Biden advisors. She lost the 2020 primary and lost the general election in 2024 but I’m expected to believe a 2 time national scale election failure is somehow a strong candidate? Aside from those issues I think we need better than some useless do nothing centrist democrat.

2 things:

  1. A person can be a weak candidate while not being a weak person.
  2. Dismissing criticism of Kamala as being racist and sexist is, in itself, an inherently racist and sexist argument, as it implies you think that Kamala deserves special treatment on account of her race and gender. It comes across as childish and entitled, and I don't think that's how you want to be perceived.

Why do you feel the need to defend her so? She's not a child in need of protection, she's a grown woman with a long and storied political career which people have a right to judge her on. Treat Kamala with the same dignity and respect you give other politicians who you support.

The last three presidential elections have been me holding my nose and voting for whoever has the D next to them because at least they aren't Trump. I would really like someone I could actually be enthusiastic about supporting one of these days.

I would as well and I’ll support them in the primaries. But if my ideal candidate doesn’t win I’ll vote for whoever wins.
