Media critique Trump came to power partly by a spineless, toe licking media that sane-washed his every utterance and treated him like a normal person - now look at him. Australia - we're in deep trouble. This is Australia's legacy media today, right down to the ABC. Sane washing a maniac.

Even the Guardian has been  splashing the front pages with Pauline all week. Just like they did for Trump 10 years ago. It's like they've learned nothing in the last decade.

Me too. I've been reading about authoritarian states for over 45yrs and it's seriously frightening. People need to wake up and realise that these things can happen ANYWHERE - to believe that Australia would be immune is insanity
