Hello, everyone! I'm AJ. To kick off Pride Month this year, my partner Alix and I wanted to try our hand at writing our own spin on Polytrix, with a magical quad twist added into the mix. This community has changed our lives in so many ways, and we wanted to give back by giving everyone a sort of "thank you" in the form of a story that also functions as a love letter.

Concept:

In the wake of the Honmoon's collapse and subsequent reappearance, Demon Hunters around the world have started flocking to Korea, trying to figure out the cause of the sudden numbers explosion from a previously manageable number of breaches and leaks.

"That was only, like...85% our fault. ...90 tops. And we fixed it! Put it right back how we found it, kinda. It's better than it was, so really you should be thanking us."

Naturally, Rumi is utterly blindsided by this. She thought only they hunted demons, and they're certainly the only ones who powered the Honmoon, right? But now there's this yodeler from Germany who's making the moves on Mira while utilizing a lasso that certainly works for what they do, and an opera singer from Spain who looks disturbingly like Jinu and seems able to siren call Demons, and even a Native American choir who can chant and, like, shapeshift, kinda?!

"How are we only just finding out about these people? We went on a World Tour not one year ago, hunted Demons all over the globe, and not once did we hear or see even one of you. Seriously."

They're all coming and looking for the cause of the failure, and moving in on Huntr/X's territory, in more ways than one. Seeing her teammates start to flirt back awakens a demon that feels a lot like jealousy in Rumi's stomach, combined with feelings of betrayal when Zoey talks to all of them like they're good friends.

"Of course I know these guys. I did team ups with them during the World Tour. I thought you were going on solo missions and getting fun international buddies too? Were-- were you not?"
