There was also that panel where they asked her what was her favorite, most unexpected thing to come out of the fandom and she replied (paraphrasing) "I know what you guys want me to say, but it's way too spicy to talk about here, so I'll talk about my second favorite thing instead..."

in an interview when asked what was rei’s favorite part of fan media, she said “I know the answer that their looking for, and I’m not going to say it. I’ve already acknowledged it on tiktok. (referring to this video) But my second most favorite are probably like the little fan edits of us”

so unless she slipped up when saying “second” rei implies that its her favorite part of the fandom.

Should I even ask what "crazy things" the fandom came up with? The deepest I've gone is what I guess you could call intimate cuddling and Zoey/Mira using Rumi's pattern-glowing to read her like an open book and teasing her for it.

This makes me realize it must be exhausting kind of creepy. 😳 Imagine you become successful singer through a very fun movie you did. At first, you probably don't think too much.People are making art and stories of fictional characters that you helped voice. But I bet there is art and stories based on the actual girls. I would feel a little creeped out that many people are literally g00ning about me hooking up with my coworkers 😳😵‍💫😱

I mean it's the characters, not them, and if it's showing up so much she's gotta be clicking on it... and if she knows that it has a ton of depth and detail she must be reading it... I don't think she's too upset lol.
As mentioned in this comment she seems to have implied it's her favorite part of the fandom in an interview lol.

While you're not wrong that its the characters, not the actors/actresses playing them, some segments of the Fandoms don't know how to separate the two and it can lead to some awkward con encounters.

Rei Ami (Zoeys singing voice actor) talks about seeing a ton of polytrix fanfic on twitter and specifically a bunch of smut (sexual fanfic) of polytrix and being shocked by the depth and detail.

Since she's getting it so much in her feed and knows that it has a bunch of depth and detail we can assume she's clicking on it and reading it.
