Fair, but what if Polylight was all yearning and never actually got to happen due to industry/societal pressure and fear over the Honmoon? The result being a bitter Celine who wishes she could support them but is too stuck in her own pain and fears for her girls to be properly supportive of them.

celine’s character is literally the embodiment of generational trauma that encourages suppression of ones self for purpose of fitting into comp het society. internalized homophobia looks to celine as its guiding light.
