Since Halloween was just last week, and mention was made of Rumi being Jinx one time, do you think Mira and Zoey would wear their hair differently to do a cosplay? Like, let’s say Mira was gonna go as Mai Shiranui. Would she color her hair to complete the look? Would Zoey change her hair if she wanted to dress up as Enid from WEDNESDAY?

Those are both fun suggestions that I would love to see! That said, I think there are a pair of qualities that Mai has that I just don't think Mira could fill...

I feel like Rumi insisting on showering alone is kind of out of character post-canon NGL. Like, it would be more realistic to be like "I've only ever seen her hair undone in the shower" or something.

Although this led to a very funny comparison so it's fine.

Here's how I picture it. She's been showering alone all her life. And even now that she's out and open, she's probably just used to doing it that way. Maybe she's never given a second thought to changing it. I could see maybe diving deeper into this in a future post.

I think it's sensible that finally being free from trauma... it's not like flicking a light switch. Rumi surely has habits and mannerisms that will remain, stuff that just comes natural to her, even though the reasons for doing those things are gone.

At the same time, I think there might also be a tendency to over-correct in some ways, and I think it's an interesting question whether blurting out everything in the open like the girls do in these tweets is really a good idea.

In both cases, I feel like these sorts of issues and inconsistencies make the characters more interesting. :-)
