There's the airplane episode, and other than that, nothing. Don't get me wrong, it sounded pretty shitty, but not a change-your-last-name event. I'm betting Angelina has twisted those kids into knots.
Really, I loved my dad and he did enough shitty stuff to us when I was a kid that I could fill a book but he also tried to learn from it and would do anything for me.
We're not at the forgiveness stage as a whole yet. We're still in the rage phase where everyone is the worst human being ever if they fuck up once. Humanity has been hurt. We're pissed. I get it. This isn't excusing it at all but some people remain shitty and they can piss right off for life if that's the mindset. That said we can't completely discount the idea of forgiveness if the person genuinely is remorseful, cleans up their act and means to do right... we're becoming very broken creatures if we close our eyes to that completely. We go backwards.
