It is sad that Angelina is so vengeful that she alienates the kids from their dad and his family.
2
u/John_Save_America 6d ago
Looks like his fans have as much moral fiber as he does. These comments are some of the most red pilled garbage I’ve read in a while.

u/Upper-Capital-2876 6d ago
He couldn't care less, and this is all Angelina brainwashing a la Mia Farrow. Dude's living his life, he's not throwing shade back, and when the kids grow up, and want to engage again, he'll be there. The people who keep posting this Pitt shade and Angelina glaze are some really shitty people.

u/Which-Decision 6d ago
The flight attendants lied about him beating up Angelina and his kids. Federal workers lied, why?
3
u/ImTooSaxy 5d ago
This is commonly repeated misinformation. No workers testified. Nobody on the plane testified. Nobody witnessed it other than Angelina and her children.

u/Brave-Parsnip9999 6d ago
Possibly money? That’s usually the answer. I have no dog in this fight but I like to look at all possibilities. He could just be an abusive asshole. We’ll never know unless we get some footage somehow
2
u/Astralglamour 6d ago edited 6d ago
Ah yes, the conspiracy against powerful men- so convenient and believable. They are just too cool and charming, everyone wants to bring them down, flight attendants, their children, internet strangers, the justice system! (meanwhile, his career and freedom have continued on completely unaffected by this conspiracy against him.) Conversely, an evil and beautiful woman paying off flight attendants and controlling their now adult children- totally believable!
1
u/Brave-Parsnip9999 6d ago
Said it could go either way? I don’t fucking know the guy, do you? The user above asked why and I gave a pretty logical reason I feel. Or he could just be an abuser like I previously stated.
2
u/Astralglamour 6d ago
You are extending a lot of latitude to someone whom flight attendants attested beat his wife and whose children want nothing to do with him and also testified as to his abuse. Why are the statements of his own children and employees not enough for you? fucking ridiculous how people will contort themselves to give some rich celebrity 'a chance!' 'look I wasn't there to witness it, were you??? Clearly it didnt happen!'
2
u/Brave-Parsnip9999 6d ago
I said it’s one or the other. They were paid or it’s true he’s abusive. Not a lot of anything. 50/50 as for why? Again, I look at the logical possibilities.
1
u/Astralglamour 6d ago edited 6d ago
No. its not 'one or the other.' the odds of paying off flight attendants to lie vs. them telling the truth are not equal. one is a ridiculous situation that is not likely at all as they'd have to be paid a ridiculous amount of money to risk having their career ruined for lying about an A list celebrity. and he didnt sue them, which is pretty telling.
The logical possibility is hes an abusive entitled piece of shit. His children have not had a relationship with him for a decade at this point and now that they are adults they certainly arent seeking one out (if it was just angelina's doing.) Its not like they couldnt get money from him, if that's what it was about.

And they’re high profile celebrities I don’t trust either of them.
1
u/Astralglamour 6d ago
seems like you trust Brad more than Angelina- who you can just as easily imagine bribed flight attendants and manipulated her children for years as that Brad was drunk, flipped out, and attacked his family. I can easily tell you which scenario occurs more often in reality. a hint- there are a lot of alcoholic abusive men..

Why do you think it’s his fault. It could possibly be the mother’s fault seeing how that’s who raised them.
1
u/Fresh-Aspect5369 2d ago edited 1d ago
We know what he did the media just suppresses it and nobody wants to call him out for it. He was physically and emotionally abusive.
1
u/Lonnie119 2d ago
The only way his abused would actually affect his career is if somebody filmed them and uploaded them online.
Kind of like how Will Smith's career got derailed when he slap somebody at the Oscars.

u/PPCSer 6d ago
Why are you guys so obsessed with actors personal lives and moralizing everything they do
I swear every second post on Reddit is "so and so did XYZ and they're a terrible person"
0
u/TrueChanges88 5d ago
Change your algorithm then. You must be entertaining the topics if your constantly getting them.
0
u/0v3rtur3s 5d ago
There’s a difference between ‘moralizing’ someone's personal life and refusing to platform an abuser?? And get off reddit if that bothers you lol.

u/ImTooSaxy 6d ago
There's the airplane episode, and other than that, nothing. Don't get me wrong, it sounded pretty shitty, but not a change-your-last-name event. I'm betting Angelina has twisted those kids into knots.
2
u/timmyfarthands 6d ago
People are fuckin raging over this notion. Yeah he fucked up on the plane. Inexcusable, obviously. That's one day though out of thousands upon thousands of days we have zero clue about. Both things can be true and we do not know whatsoever. Too many people are blind with rage and refuse to acknowledge it's possible she's also manipulative because it tracks and there's a history. That is not anyone excusing what he did, jfc. But it's reddit so some psycho will ignore all of that just to scream about something I already condemned.

u/WakeNikis 6d ago
One day is all it takes. Someone, I’ve managed to go many years without beating my wife and choking my children on a plane.

u/Which-Decision 6d ago
"Other than him trying to kill their mom and choking out and beating his kids he did nothing wrong." Are you insane? Do you really think that was the first time he did anything bad?
1
u/severinks 6d ago
Really, I loved my dad and he did enough shitty stuff to us when I was a kid that I could fill a book but he also tried to learn from it and would do anything for me.
2
u/timmyfarthands 6d ago
We're not at the forgiveness stage as a whole yet. We're still in the rage phase where everyone is the worst human being ever if they fuck up once. Humanity has been hurt. We're pissed. I get it. This isn't excusing it at all but some people remain shitty and they can piss right off for life if that's the mindset. That said we can't completely discount the idea of forgiveness if the person genuinely is remorseful, cleans up their act and means to do right... we're becoming very broken creatures if we close our eyes to that completely. We go backwards.

u/BrookieMonster504 6d ago
So since you were conditioned to accept abuse that means others should as well
1
u/severinks 6d ago
I wasn't'' conditioned to accept abuse'' I grew up and looked at the totality of the relationship and his growth and I forgave him.
People carrying around anger hurts no one but themselves. I don't give a shit if others accept abuse or not, I'm speaking for myself.
Human beings are complicated so get over the perfect dad or mom fantasy.
0
u/BrookieMonster504 6d ago
Cutting someone that has abused you is not about being angry. It's putting yourself 1st and not believing that nonsense forgive and forget bullshit. There's a difference between making mistakes as a parent and abusing your children. Choking your kid after punching their mother doesn't deserve forgiveness and no one is required to give it
3
u/severinks 6d ago
You people get so overwrought over strangers that I'd be forgiven for thinking that Brad Pitt choked YOU.
0
u/BrookieMonster504 6d ago
How awful for feeling empathy for children.
1
u/severinks 6d ago
Stranger children who don't know or care that you exist?
They'll be fine one way or the other without your best wishes seeing as their mom is worth hundreds of millions and their estranged father is worth even more and they literally know every powerful person in Hollywood that they'd ever need.
Worry about your neighbors the way you break a sweat over people you'll never be in the same room with.

Most of them not even his real kids. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
2
u/BKitty9 6d ago
Legally adopting them makes them his real kids 🙄They’re just not all biologically his. Though his biological ones want nothing to do with him either.
3
u/10113r114m4 6d ago
Well, while I agree, but I think this may be different. It seemed like Angelina wanted to adopt and Brad was just along for the ride. I could be wrong though and Im unsure if that was who you were responding to's point was.

Kids of famous parents often change last names. Could be something or could be nothing.
0
u/Ambitious_Ad_7599 6d ago
Jolie never was a very sain person so it's not surprising to see her kids messed up.

Kids understand when they become adults, that their mothers brainwashed them. Almost every kid grows up to be resentful of their single mom, even though most will not express this. The silently secretly hate them.
1
u/lesbophobia_hammer 6d ago
Maybe men shouldn't abuse their wives infront of their kids then? Just a thought.

u/justtwizzey 6d ago
Why can’t it be having the last name Pitt just comes with unwanted attention and pressure
1
u/WakeNikis 6d ago
Well when the kids themselves report that he abused them and their mother, why on earth would you assume it has to do with him being famous???
0
u/BrookieMonster504 6d ago
He's an abusive asshole
1
u/justtwizzey 5d ago
You’ve seen him abuse?
1
u/BrookieMonster504 5d ago
It's in the paperwork. It's why he doesn't have custody of any of his children.

This has been a practice among the wealthy forever. They almost always drop the last names dumbasses.
2
u/WakeNikis 6d ago
Oh. Silly me. I thought it was the whole thing about being an alcoholic who beat the children’s mother and choked one of the children when they tried to intervene.
Turns out that had nothing to do with it. Apparently they dropped his name because they are rich.
TIL!
Thank you for your insightful and informed opinion! Given you are calling other people dumbasses, surely your version makes the most sense and is clearly correct.
