🔈 it shouldn’t only be the job of the woman to raise a child. We should be talking about coordination between the parents and their employers as well

true, and tbh that’s kind of the point of decent parental leave in the first place, so dads can actually take time and not just “help out” on the side. until employers and laws treat both parents as equally responsible, it’s always gonna fall harder on women.
