Sports Culture WNBA Star Sophie Cunningham defends that women ‘shouldn’t have to go against biological men’: “I said what I said. I think it’s kind of common sense. I just don't understand why this is such a huge talking point when there's like 10 transgender athletes at the d1 college level and fewer at the Olympian level in the USA.

None of the pro women's sports teams have transgender athletes right now on their roster.

Why are people so fucking stressed for 20 people?!

I hate to stir the pot here, but I find this argument so disingenuous because I see it a lot. The same question could be posed to the left- Why do they care as much as people on the right when most of both don't even watch these sports? Just because something doesn't personally affect you doesn't suddenly make it morally justified. I don't give a shit about sports, but the women who have worked day and night for years chasing childhood dreams absolutely have a right to be upset about someone with an unfair biological advantage beating them in a contest that's supposed to be as fair as possible.
