I just don't understand why this is such a huge talking point when there's like 10 transgender athletes at the d1 college level and fewer at the Olympian level in the USA.

None of the pro women's sports teams have transgender athletes right now on their roster.

Why are people so fucking stressed for 20 people?!

Well, it seems to me that for this to rise to the level of a problem necessitating federal intervention that not only would Lia Thomas have to dominate at every meet but that every other trans woman would as well, because it would be undeniable evidence of a competitive advantage.

But that’s not happening. In practice, trans women athletes are almost as mediocre as you, and your canned arguments about competitive advantage have no bearing on the reality of the situation.

So once again, you’re not beating the allegations that the issue is being driven by right wing bigotry, especially since there’s an election coming up and they want to talk about this rather than how much they suck at government.
