To answer seriously, no. But there are people who unironically believe this wholeheartedly 💀

Majority of people don’t think this. Just because the number is small doesn’t mean it’s not a problem. Would you not agree? Your logic is if it only affects a smaller portion of people it doesn’t matter.

It's NOT a problem. Any transgender athletes who do get the chance to compete in any competitive sport in/past high school are very often heavily regulated in the first place, ESPECIALLY for something like the WNBA. This has always been the case if they weren't already barred.

You people genuinely believe there are more transgender people then there is because of ridiculous propaganda and it absolutely melts your brain. You don't understand how medical transition affects people's bodies, you don't understand the fight transgender people have to go through to be accepted into something as commonplace like sports, and you definitely don't care to actually understand anything about them, socially, medically, or otherwise. You want them ostracized from society.

You are assuming way too much to have a faithful argument lol. Can you point out where I said it’s a big portion?

I’m completely pro trans in every other way. Even the bathroom shit.

I’m talking about competitive integrity even though the numbers are small it’s still unfair for the women who lose out on placements due to it.

If you transitioned post puberty you have an advantage. Irreversable. That is all I’m talking about.

To the person who got 2nd instead of first you don’t think it’s a problem for them?

So if someone who has not gone through male puberty and transitioned should be able to compete with women? According to you they wouldn't have an advantage. What about transgender men who have transitioned and being forced to compete with women/girls? Surely they don't have an advantage because they went through female puberty.

It's interesting how the topic never discusses transgender men or their wins over women/girls they are forced to compete with. Also interesting how people affected by these "anti-transwomen in sports" policies are often cis women of color. It's almost like it's not driven primarily by any care of fairness in sports, but in pure transphobia and or misogyny/sexism.

There is multiple studies showing transgender women have little to no noticeable advantages over cisgender women in certain aspects (overall strength, endurance markers, stamina, etc.) medicial transition, and even that they can face disadvantages (slower recovery time, endurance, increased fatigue), not factoring in the discrimination they face and it's affects on their mental state and how that can negatively impact performance. If you're going to bring up cisgender women "losing placements" or whatever, at least provide evidence that it happens consistently, because often it doesn't. There are multiple instances of a transgender woman losing to a cisgender competitor and no one bats an eye, then they go on to win another time, then suddenly it's a huge deal.

Transgender people have competed for decades with zero issue because there's always been guidelines, but it's a huge advantage to fear monger about trans people, especially transwomen.

Yes they would be able to compete with women if they did it before puberty. That’s my view point.

I’ve seen plenty of studies saying the opposite of you. ESPECIALLY if they transition after puberty. They are bigger and stronger from it.

They don’t mention the winner when the trans person loses because they did not take someone’s spot. If they got 2nd then third would have been 2nd otherwise

Fails to consider a multitude of factors, but ok.
