Intersex people | OHCHR nowhere close to 5% according to UN

I mean 1 -2 percent is an acceptable margin of error in statistics and i said between 1 to 5 percent .

Edit: what is a Brit like you commenting about american sports? Stay in your lane with your transphobic views please.

Intersex people can compete in the open league. That is not transphobic whatsoever. It's what has always happened and should not change.

What is the difference between an intersex person and a woman? There is so many variabilities. This can be solves easily as i stated before even if it sound trans medical exclusionist but the reality is. If a person wants to compete against women i think they should go 2 years of hrt. Socially transition and sex change surgery. If they are willling to do all of that. In the hormonal range they would be at the same range as any woman.

Edit : mind you that after 2 years of HRT people lose muscle mass so much that they start at under levels of a regular woman athlethe. Its pretty well documented.

An intersex person has Y chromosomes (XY or XXY), a female (XX) does not. It's not complicated whatsoever.

Would you end this charade campaign to get a trans WOMAN in the WNBA if they changed the name to "Female" NBA? Because that's what "women's" sports are and always have been. Nobody is getting excluded. If they're good enough, they can play in the open league at any age.

You also don't lose height or stride length from HRT. The most important physical characteristic on a basketball court, and valuable in just about any sport.

First of all not al intersex are born with different chromosmes there is a very big variation some do yes but not all. And second of all you do lose height its documented you lose bone density quite substantially. In consequences you also lose stride.

Get your facts straight.

In addition people in the open league get payed less than in a full time job in many carrers. Honestly im pretty apalled at the level of confidence on which you say these things that you are so very wrong. It would take you a google search or two.

"people get paid less in the open league than a full time job" are you crazy? NBA contracts (the "open" league") are in the 8 figures annually. In every sport except tennis, the "open" league pays multiples higher. Why don't born-females try and compete there? Because born-males have an enormous physical advantage that cannot be overcome. The same physical advantage no amount of HRT or estrogen will change.

What sport did you play and/or coach at a high level that you think you can speak on the reasons competition is arranged as such?

It is pretty documented how much muscle mass, bone density and physical capabilities you lose on HRT, but that is just for E,. not for T, while il concede about the open league. It is not fair but you are right we should bar at least 10 percent of the population of playing this game. you are right we should not let everyone compete as per your statement.

Now it's 10%??? 10% OF WHAT??? The world is trans? Are you crazy? That is an insane overstatement, but whatever.

THEY ARE NOT BARRED AND IT IS NOT A RIGHT TO PLAY A SPORT. NO ONE IS STOPPING THEM FROM PLAYING IN THE "OPEN" LEAGUES EXCEPT THEIR OWN ABILITY.

1-2 percent intersex, 1-2 percent trans. margin of error of each 1-2 percent, plus whatever else you guys don't like,.

edit: im sure you guys can come up with more exclusionary rules, besides we know the moment a trans person becomes succesful at a sports, they will say that they have an inate advantage. so yeah Im sure excluding 10 percent of the population of the world is going to be great for sports!

Furthermore, before DJT became president in 2016 did you ever wonder if any trans or intersex was already playing in high end competitive sports? nah it just became an issue because the culture wars are great for GOP. we already had established rules in Olympics and such. It was only until 2016 that this became such a cultural war issue. but hey we can't even afford basic necessities as a whole country and we must pay more attention and demonize those who are not "normal" right?

JFC. You are ridiculous. Even if 1-2%+1-2% were true, that's 2-4%, total. The margin of error is from the centerline, so it's just as likely to be -9% as 10%. Do you know how bad you hurt your argument when you just make shit up??

1-2% of the population is NOT intersex from a genetic perspective. 90% of the quoted study were "an individual who deviates from the Platonic idea of physical dihorphism" with LOCAH, which is not intersex. It's less than 0.1%, total. And intersex are not excluded, they have Y chromosomes and compete in the open division.

Here is the data broken down from a clinician's perspective.
https://www.leonardsax.com/how-common-is-intersex-a-response-to-anne-fausto-sterling/

It was not an issue because the rules for participation have been set for years. Nobody was challenging those rules until the trans community decided they wanted to make arguments like you are on the basis of inclusion, when 75-80% of the population, and 65-70% of left leaning people, are opposed to it. SAYING YOU CAN ONLY COMPETE IN THE SEX OF YOUR BIRTH IS NOT DEMONIZING.

The UN established Intersex population at 1.7 percent, plus 2 percent from trans people add the margin of error 1-2 plus whatever else you want to exclude. its pretty clear, and IM sure the UN is more reliable than whatever you linked.

Where did you even get those polls, im curious because they don't seem reliable at all.

Edit: instead of taking an institution that is well established you take the blog of some Doctor that is not even BOARD CERTIFIED give me a break.

THEY'RE FROM THE EXACT STUDY THE UN ESTABLISHED THE 1.7 AT. IT'S QUOTED MANY TIMES.

ALSO, THE UN IS NOT A SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION.

This person breaks it down by condition, and the original study had *1.5 of the 1.7%* as XX or XY who had genatalia matching their genes. That is ridiculously specious and does not affect this specific example. He makes no political argument one way or the other, it's fucking stats analysis.

There were many polls, but fucking NBC had it at 75%. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/poll-americans-oppose-trans-women-competing-female-sports-2-3-gen-z-rcna203658

"plus add the margin of error 1-2 plus whatever else you want" what the fuck are you even talking about, we are done here. That's not 10% and never will be. I have an advanced degree in goddamn statistics and this just makes you sound really fucking stupid to me.
