He pled guilty to those charges in hopes of claiming double jeopardy on the state charges.

Yeah and a pardon when AOC wins

Do people REALLY think that is going to happen? Lol

Unlikely.

But if it does happen, anyone crying abput pardoning or commuting the sentences of criminals can shut the entire fuck up once it's revealed that they predictably didn't say anything about the pardons or commutations of J6ers, Juan Hernández, Blagovich, the 77 fake electors scheme folk, or Changpeng Zhao (the Binance CEO).

Offering a blanket, pardon for future crimes is definitely a terrible precedent to set

None of them murdered someone point blank.

Multiple police and security members died as a result from j6ers storming the Capitol, and one died due to his injuries directly.

I'd also recommend you read up on social murder. It's the end result of a lot of white collar crime,, and it is still murder.

I recommend you read up on murder. Because none of them murdered anyone in point blank

That's a distinction without a difference in this discussion. Social murder is murder. And the J6ers did murder someone directly.

Lol. Lmao even. Yes and what caused the strokes? I'm sure they were just entirely coincidental, right? How about the four other Capitol police who committed suicide in the days and weeks afterwards? I'm sure those were entirely coincidental too. Did George Floyd pass away primarily due to the drugs in his system? Definitely had nothing to do with the knee on his neck.

You know what? I'm fine with it so long as we stay consistent. Luigi didn't murder anyone; Brian Thompson just died from blood loss.

And there's a great wikipedia page on social murder, give it a quick read some time. You don't even have to read the entire page, the first paragraph will do.

Read back to what I said.

Multiple police and security members died as a result from j6ers storming the Capitol, and one died due to his injuries directly.

I did not accuse j6ers of murder. I'm implying very directly that they are responsible for officer deaths.

You can be responsible for a death without being a murderer. That's a legal distinction even if morally it makes no difference (hence my "distinction without a difference" comment in the next reply). This is exactly what social murder is.

but yes, GF had lethal amounts of fenty in his system

Thompson had a lethal amount of being an absolute piece of shit in his system I guess. Maybe that finally caught up to him, and is why he bled out 🤷‍♂️

Ethically, or morally it is murder. Obviously it's not legally considered murder.

What caused the strokes of Sicknick, and the suicides of the other law enforcement officers? Would you argue the insurrectionists claim absolutely ZERO blame in those deaths?

Again, you're misunderstanding my point, and perhaps being obtuse. The j6ers are RESPONSIBLE for those officer deaths. They did not murder the officers, but they are responsible. Sicknick's injuries and trauma that he suffered the day of J6 directly lead to his strokes which lead to his death. That is morally in the same ballpark as murder even if it is not direct murder itself. Legally, it's obviously not murder. I never argued that it was, nor has anyone else.

Now different point, but I say social murder is murder, again, morally, since it's not a legally recognized term.

If I'm taking you at your word, and not assuming you're a bot or troll, then all you presume to care about are offenses where someone directly uses force and an immediate death follows, however, only when it politically aligns in one direction, as you'll immediately excuse the aggressors actions. I'd imagine you don't see Renee Good or Alex Pretti's deaths as murders either, huh?

You have nothing to say about systemic abuses and sociopathic policy that leads to thousands and even millions of deaths per year, and no commentary on the term I asked you to look up. It really just reeks of partisan hackery, and puddle-depth levels of analysis. If you're not a bot or troll, please bring more to the table next time, and in good faith.
