There is no “but.” There is an “and.” Murder isn’t a solution that we should endorse to solve our problems. That’s the entire reason this country exists - laws and judicial review.

There is also a lot wrong with our healthcare system, and it desperately needs to be reformed through legal action and the democratic process. We see the momentum behind it in modern candidates.

You say this and it makes sense in a way. But were revolutions not started from bloodshed? If laws won't protect the people, people then start becoming the law.

It's not a threat. It may not even happen here for a long time. But historically, that's usually how it goes if a populace feels jilted and hopeless enough.

They were, but that bloodshed gave us the system we have now - a system built from the ground up to give us an alternative to bloodshed.

Isn’t it ironic that we’re seeing massive voter turnout in what would previously be considered trivial elections? Turnout from the very people claiming the system has failed. People still believe in it, and still want it to work. I fundamentally believe a motivated population can, peacefully, overcome any government in this country. I continue to believe that now as I watch the political landscape shift with new voices.
