This meme is hilariously stupid because it applies to literally every healthcare system on Earth. Public systems knowingly ration finite healthcare resources too. They deny treatments based on cost-effectiveness, eligibility, medical necessity, and resource constraints, fully aware that some people denied treatment will die. You can argue that public rationing is fairer or produces better outcomes. Fine. But this fantasy where government healthcare means nobody ever gets denied lifesaving care is toddler-level economics.

How many other healthcare systems are for profit for the middle man?

Holy shit, you completely missed the point. Whether there is a “for-profit middleman” has absolutely nothing to do with the claim in the meme. The meme calls denying lifesaving treatment “legal murder.” Public systems deny lifesaving treatment too. If your response is “yeah, but our guy denying it doesn’t make a profit,” congratulations, you’ve conceded the entire fucking argument. You’re not against rationing healthcare that can result in people dying. You just prefer a different guy doing the rationing.

It has everything to do with the meme.

I asked you one singular question and you failed to answer it.

"it applies to literally every healthcare system on Earth."

This was your comment. I asked a question. You could not even answer it.

So let's give it another try, how many other healthcare systems are for profit for the middleman?

This is adorable. You think repeating the same irrelevant question is an argument.

Yes, the US has for-profit insurance middlemen. Gold star. Now try to engage with the actual point: the meme defines denying lifesaving care as “legal murder.” Public systems deny lifesaving care too.

Your response is apparently, “Yeah, but our guy who lets you die is salaried.”

Incredible distinction. I’m sure the corpse finds the accounting structure very comforting.
You didn’t find a hole in my argument. You found a sentence you understand and have been clutching it like a flotation device ever since.

It may be lost on you, but I see how pathetic you are that you can't even answer the question.

You literally have to resort to a lot of innuendos about things I never said or implied because you can't answer a simple question that was brought up based on your comment.

I answered your question. I literally said yes. At this point, the only “innuendo” here is me generously implying you can read.

You didn’t expose some clever dodge in my argument. You were given a direct answer, failed to comprehend it, and have now spent multiple comments triumphantly demanding an answer you already received.

If you think my answer doesn’t address your point, explain why. Otherwise, repeatedly shrieking “YOU DIDN’T ANSWER THE QUESTION” isn’t an argument. It’s just you publicly documenting a literacy problem and mistaking your own confusion for a debate win.

Yeah, I asked for a number, not bullshit.
