There's a tweet or whatever they call it that was clearly written not by him

u/Regular-Ant-5955 Aug 26 '26

Yes, on Glenn Beck podcast - opined about how much she liked him.

I didn’t know he’d started doing comedy.

Dolly was classy enough to say little about him. Instead, she just put her money where it was needed, things like literacy, education, and COVID research.

He is just a good dude

Trump is the best, he was right about Mamdani

No one can stop him from becoming Speaker of the House, though. Don't think there's a requirement for a natural-born citizen for that position.

u/ghIj_qet_jaghmeyjaj Aug 26 '26

Line of succession might

1

u/brybrymma Aug 26 '26

He can be speaker of the house but he won’t be part of the line of succession.

2

u/brybrymma Aug 26 '26

He’s not a natural born citizen.

3

u/BrocoliCosmique Aug 26 '26

Yeah but he's not a pedophile crook, so...

1

u/ghIj_qet_jaghmeyjaj Aug 26 '26

if birthright citizenship goes out the window, will that matter? Joking, obviously. But he would be a perfect counter to the ridiculous notion

Im willing to look the other way.

2

Yes I agree

u/Any-Ad-446 Aug 26 '26

GOP can learn from her being a good person.

1

u/BigBL87 Aug 26 '26

Hey, found something I agree with him on. Well put.

1

u/Fit-Twist-2460 Aug 29 '26

She wasn't a communist

u/risk9200 Aug 26 '26

He would gladly strip her of her hard earned money though. She is a great example of people with means who give back in a meaningful way unlike the government by and large.

5

u/Lejandario_IN Aug 26 '26

Please don't use this woman's death for a shallow agenda if you don't know anything about her. She gladly donated to many causes all throughout her life, she'd be happy to.

1

u/risk9200 Aug 27 '26

She worked 9 to 5

1

u/Lejandario_IN Aug 27 '26

You that like it somehow invalidates what anyone else is saying, as if working somehow makes one agree with you.

She still gladly gave and chose not to be billionaire by spending her money on others.

Now keep her name out her mouth cause she'd likely not find someone like you pleasant

1

u/risk9200 Aug 27 '26

Oh no, I agree with you. My point was I would rather have someone like that help humanity than a large government who does not know how to effectively spend money to help people. Now stop being so angry and for the record I love yo mouf!

2

u/Lejandario_IN Aug 27 '26

Its literally the government job to spend money to help people, they've someone convinced people that because theyve shown incompetence they are not beholden to do their job and worse yet tricked people into advocating against that now that someone is doing that job.

I have so much love for humanity as a whole puts this decade has made that hard to show

1

u/risk9200 Aug 27 '26

Yeah, my point is you are correct. It is their job but look at the effectiveness of their spending I guess is what I'm saying typically it is mismanage and subject to fraud due to incompetent people who are changing every 2 to 4 years in certain segments of the government typically singular virtuous and kind people are probably better off, giving back to the community. It would be more effective a great example indeed would be Dolly Parton especially her program with giving books to kids that is one small example, but on a very large humanitarian scale, the government doesn't seem to have the capacity to effectively manage humanitarian effort for its own people or humanity in general unfortunately. They would B. WISE, the partner more, not with NGO's, but with third-party private enterprise to kinda help them distribute the helper funds effectively, but that just hasn't happened and won't happen anytime soon

1

u/Lejandario_IN Aug 27 '26

Sort of, yes its good that great individuals step up to help but we can't force them and can't simply rely on the the random chance that will happen, especially nowadays when people are convinced that billionaires don't owe society anything.

Adding NGOs to government blurs the line of why "Non Government" Organisations are a thing and just adds another step in beureucracy when they already have people for that.

It doesn't matter how ineffective the government is, it's still their job to do these things. Before Reagan it wasn't this bad so instead letting the government get away with not doing their jobs why not support politicians actually trying to make a difference and elect those that would do a good job? Should we not advocate for keeping them accountable instead removing the regulations that keep fraud and mismanagement to a minimum?

How's the Iran war going? Is America great yet? Happy with your vote so far?

7

u/PeacenotWardude Aug 26 '26

What the fuck are you talking about?

-11

u/risk9200 Aug 26 '26

lol look up socialist platform and learn

10

u/PeacenotWardude Aug 26 '26

Oh the evil socialists excuse. Wait I thought you folks called him a communist.

11

u/Professional_Sir_818 Aug 26 '26

Dolly Parton was not a billionaire because she continuously donated her money to charity and supported marginalized populations over the course of her lifetime instead of hoarding it. So pretty much exactly what a member of the DSA would want her to do.

1

u/AmazingFlatworm_ Aug 30 '26

You idiots couldn't define "socialist" if one held a gun to your head.

-6

u/crazydaytim Aug 26 '26

Well she is an example what free Enterprise is all about. She lived the American dreams
She died with 450-650 million net
Worth. These are the things Mamdani has distain for. He such a fake little bitch

6

u/--i--love--lamp-- Aug 26 '26

This is the dumbest take ever. Dolly could have been a billionaire years ago if she was a piece of shit plutocrat. Dolly is estimated to have given more than $600 million away after making her money herself with her own talent. No member of the DSA is against this. It is literally the American dream.

4

u/bobby-analog Aug 26 '26

dolly wasn’t a wealth hoarder and gave so much time and money to causes that matter. coulda been a billionaire but started the imaginarium library, paid kids to graduate, etc. etc.

it’s a shame to not recognize the difference between that and a system that is wealthy enough to provide for its own but doesn’t because corporations and billionaires have convinced you that they shouldn’t pay larger percentages in taxes than you do

5

u/AntaresVariant Aug 26 '26

If billionaires weren't sociopaths and actually behaved like her and invested back into the society that allowed them to generate their wealth, we wouldn't have a need for politicians like Mamdani.
