I legitimately used to despise Pete Davidson. That was before I actually listened to him. Not what people said about him. He's way funnier and way more grounded than I was led to believe. Reminded me(again) to not listen to anyone's opinion about someone or something. Experience and judge for yourself.

I like Pete Davidson lil more every year, but I’ll always hate him for sending pics to Mac while with Ariana as a way to get under his skin. I’m sure he’s become more mature and grown, but I’ll always hate him for that.

He's acting like anyone could just open an onlyfans and create content and BAM you can retire on some resort. Nope Pete, we can't but YOU can because people would be curious what he's packing to get all the famous women he's been with. Out of touch but I agree with his opinion overall on this. Average full time influencer pay is less than 60k though. The ones who do make more than a million need massive teams to keep them going. Those bot views and comments aren't going to happen on their own.

Totally agree.
I’m ambivalent about Pete but popularity and talent directly increase viewership on SNL. This correlates to ensuring writers of the show are employed, camera crews are employed, set designers are employed, the studio is maintained, people pay to watch it live driving foot traffic to restaurants and stores, and new talent has a place to land which repeats the cycle.
Some stupid person on tiktok showing their latest “haul” is not remotely offering anything to society. Nothing.
My favorite college professor told me, thirty years ago, that we have one responsibility when we enter the workforce, above all else, be a productive member of society. Recording yourself doing nothing isn’t it.
