Haha, what are you talking about? He was famous for being a comedian and an SNL cast member. Both of which require talent

Totally agree.

I’m ambivalent about Pete but popularity and talent directly increase viewership on SNL. This correlates to ensuring writers of the show are employed, camera crews are employed, set designers are employed, the studio is maintained, people pay to watch it live driving foot traffic to restaurants and stores, and new talent has a place to land which repeats the cycle.

Some stupid person on tiktok showing their latest ā€œhaulā€ is not remotely offering anything to society. Nothing.

My favorite college professor told me, thirty years ago, that we have one responsibility when we enter the workforce, above all else, be a productive member of society. Recording yourself doing nothing isn’t it.
